Welcome to UnChair!
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our iOS application UnChair ("App"), operated by the UnChair team. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
To use UnChair, you must be at least 13 years of age. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you are fully able and competent to enter into and comply with these Terms.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the App, you must create an account using your Apple or Google ID through Firebase Authentication.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
UnChair uses a hard paywall model. Access to core features requires a paid subscription, which is managed and processed through RevenueCat and Apple’s App Store.
• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and will renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iOS Settings.
• All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds for unused portions of your subscription, except where required by law.
5. App Usage
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Copy, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality in UnChair (including text, graphics, logos, and software) are the exclusive property of UnChair or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Third-Party Services
UnChair integrates with third-party services including:
• Firebase (Google) for authentication and database services
• RevenueCat for subscription and payment management
These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies, which you are encouraged to review.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time without prior notice if you violate these Terms or engage in any behavior that we deem harmful to the App or its users.
You may delete your account and stop using the App at any time.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any health-related data tracked by the App.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UnChair and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Modifications to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements.
We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification.
Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your local jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
